VENZA® to Present at Vesta Hospitality’s Annual Conference on Protecting Guest Data, Expands Partnership with Comprehensive Information Security Program

(Atlanta, GA – May 2016) VENZA will be speaking at Vesta Hospitality’s annual conference in June of this year about strategies for protecting guest data and implications of the new requirements of PCI DSS 3.2. The two companies are also expanding their partnership to include a custom Learning Management System (LMS) for Vesta that integrates its new hire orientation training with VENZA’s security, compliance and awareness solutions, providing a one-stop platform for Vesta’s training and performance support needs.

“While the hospitality industry faces growing data security threats, the release of PCI DSS 3.2 also makes it critical for hotel management companies to remain current with the latest requirements and vigilant about keeping staff prepared, informed and equipped to act,” says Daniel Johnson, VENZA’s COO. “Vesta Hospitality is taking a comprehensive, proactive approach to not only mitigating risk and maintaining compliance but also making the protection of guest data integral to their culture.”

As part of the expansion of the now two-year-old partnership, VENZA has provided a custom instance for Vesta on the VENZA LMS that integrates seamlessly with Vesta’s other training offerings. The solution also includes support services from the VENZA team and reporting that focuses on employee successes and achievement. This program is rolled into a VENZA program that celebrates those employees who go above and beyond with regard to their employment and knowledge base.

“We are committed to defending our properties against security breaches and preparing all employees to ensure the safety of our guests’ data,” says Rick Takach, President & CEO of Vesta Hospitality. “By partnering with VENZA, we get more than technology, tools and training; we get their expertise. In fact, one of the reasons we asked them to speak at our conference is that they bring deep knowledge and experience to the table, both in the hospitality industry and through their association with the PCI Security Standards Council.”

VENZA has been designated as a PCI Participating Organization by the PCI Security Standards Council, the global forum for the ongoing development, enhancement, storage, dissemination and implementation of security standards for account data protection. As a result, the company receives access to new standards prior to their release to the public, along with exclusive communications and other opportunities to stay abreast of industry developments.

Vesta Hospitality’s annual conference is an opportunity for the organization to make good on its goal to develop and enhance great teams that in turn create great experiences.
