VENZA Releases Roadmap Updates for Q4 2024
VENZA, the leading provider of cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced updates to its Product Roadmap—its forward-looking strategy for delivering cutting-edge security tools and features. In Q4, VENZA reached significant milestones, introducing major enhancements to the VENZA System, broadening its training resources, and improving multilingual accessibility across its content.
“The Product Roadmap reflects VENZA’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and collaboration,” said Casey Harrigan, Product Director at VENZA. “It not only charts our progress but also outlines our vision for the future, providing our partners with a clear understanding of where we’ve been and where we’re going.”
“Q4’s updates directly address the unique challenges of hospitality,” said Harrigan. “With the new year on the horizon, hoteliers need tools and resources that are not only innovative but tailored to their operational realities. These milestones deliver exactly that—specialized solutions for confidently navigating the complexities of data security and compliance.”
Highlights of Q4 include:
VENZA System Dashboard
The VENZA System’s Risk and Reporting Dashboard was officially launched, offering clients a comprehensive view of their security and risk profile. The dashboard combines data from program features like the VENZA Learning™ Content Library and VENZA Phishing™ to act as a unified tool for unrivaled visibility.
Built from the bottom-up with hospitality in mind, the VENZA System’s dashboard reporting capabilities are designed to account for the industry’s unique hierarchies and data flows. It enables seamless filtering, from organisation-wide insights down to individual properties.
Data Privacy Fundamentals Course
In response to evolving global data privacy laws, VENZA introduced a new elective course: “Data Privacy Fundamentals.” This instructional experience delivers industry-specific training on the principles, rights, and obligations underpinning global regulation, including coverage of California’s CPRA and the EU’s GDPR.
Expanding on concepts in VENZA’s core security awareness training, elective coursework covers key topics, including device security, social engineering scenarios, AI security, and more.
Advanced Pathfinder
VENZA’s industry leading in-person instructional program, Pathfinder™, was upgraded to include expert-level training tailored for leadership and IT teams. Building on content from core Intermediate and Advanced Learning Paths, hotels can now benefit from live, on-premises instruction on data management, compliance, and advanced security practices, and more.
Breakroom Posters
The breakroom poster library was expanded with two new series covering data privacy law and incident response. Designed to provide actionable guidance for employees and managers, these posters detail first responses to suspected breaches and outline fundamental principles and terms in regulations.
Easily downloadable and printable, the breakroom poster collection serves as a powerful tool for strengthening security awareness in high-traffic employee areas.
HR Courses
VENZA added three new courses to its HR Suite offerings: “Generational Differences,” “Powerful Listening Skills,” and “Bribery and Improper Incentives.” Each course addresses key aspects of workplace dynamics, fostering a culture of respect, inclusivity, and professionalism.
In partnership with industry-leading compliance provider Mitratech, VENZA offers an extensive suite of over 50 courses designed to ensure legal compliance and promote a healthy and safe workplace.
Content Translations
VENZA expanded its translation efforts, enhancing the accessibility of its offerings for a global audience.
Newly added breakroom posters and essential resources are now available in German and Spanish.
Additionally, key elective courses have been translated into multiple languages, with select VENZA Learning™ content now accessible in Arabic, Chinese, English, German, and Spanish.
