VENZA Shares Major Product Updates for Q2 2025

VENZA, the leading provider of cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced updates to its Product Roadmap, its guiding framework for new security innovation and development, for the second quarter of 2025.

Q2 brought bold advancements to VENZA’s suite of hospitality-tailored solutions, highlighted by the launch of Chargeback Support—a unique credit card dispute mitigation and recovery solution—and significant additions to phishing simulation and training content programs.

“In today’s increasingly complex digital ecosystem, hoteliers need more than prevention—they need adaptive, end-to-end protection that also supports threat recovery,” said Casey Harrigan, Product Director at VENZA. “The innovations we made this quarter met these challenges head-on. Our expanded training and phishing simulation content enhances frontline awareness, while our latest solution, Chargeback Support, adds critical protection against an under-addressed area of revenue loss—advancing VENZA’s commitment to full-cycle defense.”

“VENZA has spent nearly twenty years advancing hospitality security. Our quarterly roadmap updates showcase this continued dedication to protecting the industry—past, present, and future,” he added.

Highlights of Q2 include:

Chargeback Support

Credit card disputes represent a major challenge for hoteliers, with annual losses reaching $25 billion USD. In response, VENZA introduced Chargeback Support—a product purpose-built to help hotels deflect disputes and recover lost revenue.

The solution pairs prevention and recovery through two components: Deflect™ and Advantage™. Deflect delivers real-time alerts to stop chargebacks before they escalate, while Advantage reimburses up to $100,000 USD annually per property for eligible losses.

Specialized Security Awareness Training

To build employee awareness against the latest threats, VENZA introduced two new security awareness training courses.

“Vishing Defense” explores the most common phone-based scams targeting hotel staff, providing practical guidance for detection and prevention. “Smishing Defense” focuses on text message scams, outlining best practices to mitigate risk.

These elective courses can be custom-paired with VENZA’s core training “paths”, enabling organisations to build a curriculum that addresses specialized risk areas such as device security, social engineering, evolving privacy laws, and more.

Phishing Enhancements

VENZA made significant investments in its phishing simulation platform, introducing key upgrades to delivery, reporting, and scenario content.

Over 10 new proprietary email threat scenarios were added, featuring tactics such as OTA impersonation and payroll fraud. This builds upon a robust simulation library of over 40 templates, each mirroring the most pressing email threats facing hoteliers, including booking platform scams, fake guest reviews, and vendor impersonation. Additionally, each simulation is paired with a custom remediation course, offering targeted training for susceptible users.

In addition to new content, significant enhancements were also made to VENZA’s phishing engine for faster, more reliable delivery, along with major upgrades to the reporting interface for greater risk assessment insights.

Intermediate & Advanced Learning Path Updates

VENZA’s Intermediate and Advanced Learning Paths—two essential components of its core security awareness training program—received enhancements to reflect the evolving threat landscape and shifting regulatory demands faced by hoteliers.

VENZA’s information security training is structured into tiered learning paths to ensure role-appropriate instruction across an organisation.

The Intermediate and Advanced paths build on the newly enhanced Basic Learning Path, delivering in-depth training designed for management, leadership, and IT teams.

Content Translations

As part of its ongoing commitment to global accessibility, VENZA expanded the localization of its program offerings and resources this quarter to support its international client base.

All VENZA Learning™ Content Library material has been translated into multiple languages, such as Arabic, German, and Spanish.

The Intermediate and Advanced Learning Paths, along with a broad range of phishing campaign templates, are now accessible in 10 languages: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Thai.
