Unafraid to think outside the box, visionary entrepreneur Jeff Venza has been a disruptive force in the hospitality technology industry since 2008 when he founded VENZA®. Fueled by his passion for innovation, Jeff is an architect of change who has guided VENZA’s upward trajectory from the ground up to a multi-million dollar brand. Today, over 10,000 properties in over 100 countries trust VENZA® to help them predict, protect, detect and respond to security and privacy threats. As an evangelist for what’s possible, Jeff is involved in crafting the company culture, developing new solutions and shaping future growth opportunities.

Prior to launching his own company, Jeff was Vice President of Training Services for AMERICAN SYSTEMS where he led the Enterprise Commercial Group (ECG). Over the years, he has been a driving force behind Fortune 500 corporations like The Coca-Cola Company and AirTran Airways, where he served in various key management positions.

Jeff has been involved in philanthropy most of his life and has served on the boards for the Association for Talent Development (ATD), Technology Associates of Georgia (TAG) and Supporting Adoption & Foster Families Together (SAFFT), a community-based organization of caregivers that supports the needs of Georgia’s foster and adoptive children. He is currently an active member of the HITEC Executive Vendor Advisory Council to provide input and advice into education, trends and topics that affect the industry and HITEC events.

Partner/Co-Founder

Daniel’s function revolves around developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining VENZA’s strategic initiatives. His aim is to transform fluid considerations into crystallized forms.

Before co-founding VENZA®, he founded and ran Music for Charities, a tech-based engine built to promote independent music and raise money for non-profit organizations. He was also the Director of Training Delivery at American Systems.

Daniel earned his MSc. from the University of Bristol, England.

CIO

David brings to the Venza Group over 17 years of web, graphic, and multimedia design and computer-based training development experience. He has extensive expertise in current web technologies, eLearning application development tools, learning management systems, Instructional System Design processes, and Information Security technologies. During David’s 17+ years of eLearning experience he has had an active role in developing courseware for organizations including Chick-fil-A, McKesson, EADS CASA, US Coast Guard, US Army, US Air Force, US Navy, National Security Agency, and Komatsu America Corp.

David’s primary focus within Venza® is crafting technological components such as the Venza® Simulation Builder® and eGuide Developer®. Both are interactive tools ideally suited for the rapid development of application training modules.

David came to Venza® with 10 years of military experience. During his time in the US Army and Florida National Guard, he served as a 11H Tow Gunner, 11B Squad Leader, and 11B Platoon Sergeant. His military assignments include three stateside and one European assignment, as well as two military operations.

David currently holds a CISM certification from ISACA and a CISSP certification from (ISC)2.

HR Director

Robin brings to Venza® over 10 years of experience. She has worked in various positions including corporate training, sales support, and most recently as an executive for a local non-profit working to help support families through adoption. Robin has created small group curriculum and co-produced training DVDs.

Robin currently serves on the leadership team for the Technology-Based Learning SIG for the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD)./p>

Robin's primary focus within Venza® is supporting our clients by leading our superior customer support team and providing quality assurance to Venza® business related processes.

Master Developer

Will brings to Venza® over 31 years of web design, multimedia and computer-based training development, 3D animation, videography and audio production, technical illustration, and instructional systems design. Will has extensive knowledge in the complete design and development of digital media production and has produced courseware for all branches of the military, various local and national Government agencies, and many Fortune 500 companies. He has served in many different capacities over the years to include Consultant, Training Production Manager, Creative Director and Director of Media Services and has been featured in various industry-related publications as well as several speaking engagements.

Will’s primary focus within Venza® is the design and development of custom cross-platform courseware for clients such as Arby’s, RaceTrac, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Travelport. His expertise in various authoring and graphic systems enables Venza® to accommodate the many needs of the client.

Will is a U.S. Army Military Intelligence veteran serving the Intelligence and Security Command and National Security Agency. He began his career in Instructional Systems Design and courseware production in 1986.

Will attended the International Academy of Design and Technology.

Customer Success MGR

April is no stranger to customer relationships. She previously served as a manager in the food and beverage industry as well as serving as a trainer in the retail industry; both increasing her knowledge of customer experience. April graduated from Ottawa University with a MBA in business management with an emphasis in leadership and management. She also graduated with a BS in Psychology from Georgia Southern University.
Through experience and training, April serves Venza® as the manager of the Customer Success Team. She understands that people will retain information if they are exposed to multiple interventions across domains in order to make sure each learner gets value! Using her passion for growing the business, she strives to use the customer / vendor relationship to expand Venza®’s outreach.

Administrative Assistant

Marineli is a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude. Give her a task and she will get it done. Marineli cares deeply about her family and community. Her community involvement varies from the local PTA to volunteering her time serving children in the community through organizations like YMCA and MUST Ministries.

Customer Success Rep

Kayla Thompson, A native of Chicago, IL, is an alumnus of Southern Illinois University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Spanish.
Kayla has over 15 years of experience in marketing, business development and client relations.

Kayla was employed as General Manager with Brunswick, the #1 fitness company in the world and most recently with Bowlmor, the largest operation of entertainment centers in the world. Kayla successfully managed a multi-million dollar book of business at each company.

As General Manager Kayla developed and maintained cooperative relationships with C-suite executives, vendors, employees and customers. Kayla’s previous experience includes successfully managing business operations, human resources, customer relations and sales support. Kayla enjoys movies, sports, trivia, cooking and traveling as hobbies.

Account Executive, Sales

Careen Boers, a local resident of Roswell, Georgia, attended Georgia State University. Careen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.

Careen has worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Boehringer Ingelheim, AstraZeneca and GlaxoSmithKline in the past. Careen has worked as an outside sales representative in various others industries, such as real estate and corporate sales training.

For the past five years Careen has focused on IT hardware, unified communications solutions and more recently Information Technology Security.

Careen serves Venza® as an Account Executive, using her skills of introducing solutions to new clients and making their work lives easier!

In her spare time, Careen is the CEO of her family and enjoys cooking, fine wine, traveling, boating and sports with her husband and son.

Tom brings to Venza® over three decades serving the hospitality industry. Beginning his career in 1983 as a Customer Service Manager for Micros, Tom has extensive knowledge in providing innovative Point of Sales, Internet, and Energy Managing client solutions. He has served in wealth of capacities over the years to include Customer Service Manager, Director of Lodging, and Hospitality Consultant, and was recognized with Squirrel’s Top Salesman Award.

Tom’s primary focus within Venza® is Hospitality Vertical Sales. His expertise in both Customer Service and Sales Management enables Venza® to add significant value to the client’s experience.

Software Developer

Elton Okoli is a software developer for VENZA, creating and maintaining custom applications for the company. His background in networking, programming, design and IT makes him a great fit for the VENZA team. Elton is an Innovative developer highly skilled in web, software and mobile application design. Elton’s hobbies include playing sports, designing and writing small code snippet. Elton’s primary focus with VENZA would be innovating new, creative and reliable applications while maintain previous developments in the company.

Multimedia Developer

Marshall began working with Venza® as an multimedia developer intern since he was 16 years. He currently is pursuing a degree in marketing and works with Venza® between attending college.
