VENZA takes Comprehensive Information Security Program on the Road

(Atlanta, GA – August 3, 2016) This week, VENZA® begins a series of events and speaking engagements to present the advances afforded by their holistic approach to hospitality security. This series, something of a data privacy road show, starts in their home turf of Atlanta, GA, at the AAHOA’s Georgia Regional Conference. The central topic of discussion at that event will be VENZA’s Matterhorn Package which provides Readiness by turning front-line staff into a hotel’s strongest asset in the fight for data security and against fraud.

Following the AAHOA event, VENZA team members will be presenting behind closed doors at a number of leadership conferences hosted by their management company customers. The intention of these events is for the general managers and other on-property leaders to become torchbearers for privacy protection and data security compliance. These workshops mirror that which VENZA’s COO, Daniel Johnson, facilitated for Vesta Hospitality in May of this year.

“Along with our cyber security testing and other risk management services, our on-line awareness programs offer the visibility that’s necessary for hoteliers to confidently trust that their business is protected and their guests are safe. However, a culture of security awareness requires a clear, unambiguous, vocal participation of business leaders. Our workshops provide leaders guidance for how get involved,” says Johnson.

In addition to these events, VENZA leadership is looking forward to exploring the company’s new alliance partnership with Preferred Hotel Group (PHG) and their newly minted designation of ‘exclusive provider’ of information security learning programs for PHG.

Designated as a PCI Security Standards Council Participating Organization, VENZA’s communications will logically include strategies for protecting guest data against the new requirements of PCI DSS 3.2. Johnson returned to a comment he made in an earlier statement, “While the hospitality industry faces growing data security threats, the release of PCI DSS 3.2 also makes it critical for hotel management companies to remain current with the latest requirements and vigilant about keeping staff prepared, informed and equipped to act.” He then added, “Our series of visits with hoteliers could not be timelier.”

VENZA’s data privacy road show will also include international stops, not least of which will be HFTP’s HITEC Amsterdam in March of next year.
