We’re excited to share the new and improved products added to the VENZA lineup during the first quarter of 2023.

Q1 was a busy quarter that added many enhancements to our products, tools to help you roll out and deliver products, and an entirely new program! Overall, we’re pleased to report changes that make VENZA’s offerings better than ever before.

We’ve also updated the VENZA Vision ’24 Roadmap to detail many compelling new features that will be available in the coming months.

Programs

The Hill™

Cybersecurity risks aren’t limited to large organisations, so data protection programs shouldn’t be either. The Hill makes world-class security awareness and data protection products available without requiring a world-class budget. Designed for independent properties, this program is ideal for boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts, hostels, inns, and camping/campgrounds.

The Hill contains a curated collection of products, including VENZA Phishing™, VENZA Learning™ Content Library, Data Protection Coaching, Data Protection Portal Access, and Data Breach Coverage.

Security Awareness Training

Language Translations

Security awareness training must be accessible for all employees. We’ve increased the reach and impact of our Intermediate and Advanced Learning Paths by adding new language translations. Each of the courses is now available in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Thai.

Basic Learning Path Updates

Cybersecurity is constantly evolving. With the barrage of news, it can be difficult to keep pace. VENZA’s training removes the legwork by delivering accurate, up-to-date information directly to your employees. We’ve updated the courses in our Basic Learning Path—our introductory courses for all employees—with new statistics and recent facts to keep the content on the cutting edge.

CPRA

VENZA constantly monitors legislative changes around the world that may impact the compliance status of our clients.

One significant law is the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). An amendment to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the CPRA will come into effect in 2023 and have broad implications for consumer data privacy rights within the state of California and beyond.

We added a series of instructional resources related to CPRA, including:

*Summary Module. A standalone course covers an overview of CPRA, the law’s scope and applicability and its requirements. It also includes a library of additional resources and information about how VENZA’s products can help you stay compliant.

*Infographic. A one-page infographic highlights key policy changes between the CCPA and CPRA. This resource is ideal for sharing internally within your organization to raise awareness about compliance.

*Legislation Brief. VENZA maintains a library of briefs related to major privacy laws. We’ve updated and extended our brief related to CPRA.

Security

Policy Template Library

VENZA maintains a Policy Template Library with sample organizational policies that cover key areas related to data protection and compliance. We’ve dramatically expanded its scope and now offer over 20 templates spanning a wide range of topics.

Key topics include:

*Information Security Policies by SAQ Type (A, A-EP, B, B-IP, C, C-VT, D, P2PE)

*Data Protection (Acceptable Use, Access Control, Data Classification, Email Policy, Incident Response, IT Equipment, Passwords)

*Privacy (CCTV, Data Retention & Disposal, Privacy)

For a complete list of templates or to request access, contact your Customer Success Coach.

SAQ Questionnaires

PCI DSS compliance requires the completion of a Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ). To complete the SAQ, VENZA’s Security Team gathers information about your organization’s policies and network settings with a General Manager Questionnaire (GMQ) and an IT Questionnaire (ITQ).

To streamline information intake during the process of SAQ completion, we’ve revamped our GM and IT Questionnaires. They’re now clearer, more straightforward, and easier to complete.

SAQ Demos

We created live demonstrations to assist hoteliers complete the SAQ process. Held weekly, these sessions are designed for General Managers and cover:

*Overall requirements of the PCI DSS framework

*Completing the intake GMQ

*PCI DSS’s Prioritized Approach

*Step-by-step guidelines for the SAQ process

Sessions are facilitated by experts from VENZA’s Security Team and include live screen sharing and walkthroughs. Demonstrations are held each Wednesday at 4:00 PM EST and run for sixty minutes. To sign up, register here.
